In June 2014, Boopsie launched their Comics Plus: Library Edition integration in the Houston Public Library app. Prior to the launch of the integration, app users were able to access digital graphic novels via their desktops. Since launching the integration, which allows patrons to browse their library’s graphic novel collection and read them in the embedded reader, checkouts have increased four-fold.
