Heritage Public Library App features

Heritage Public Library is a part of the Find It Virginia app; simply search for Heritage or select your library from the list.

With the Smart Prefix™ search under Heritage’s Evergreen Catalog search you can easily find books by your favorite author by typing ma gla into the search bar instead of Malcolm Gladwell. Want to download eBooks and eAudioBooks? Select Downloadables from the menu to access Heritage Library’s OverDrive holdings. Want to know what the summer reading books were for your grade level? Log in to your Reading Program account under the Summer Reading Program tab. Need homework help? Check out the Literati tab! Do you like to keep up with the your local library? Check out their Facebook tab for a direct connection to their website. Want to send an email to your library? Select Ask Us to email or call your library directly from the app! If you’re on the go and find a book you want to read, you can use the BookLook function to perform an ISBN search of Heritage Public Library’s holdings; simply use your phone’s camera to scan the bar code of the book and your app will do the rest.
