Amherst County Public Library is a part of the Find It Virginia app; simply search for Amherst in the main menu, then select your library from the list.

Once you’re in the app, you can search Amherst’s SirsiDynix Horizon catalog and use My Account to look up books that you have on hold or checked out. Check out DayByDayVA, a family literacy calendar with fun things for kids to do daily; or search TumbleBooks for age appropriate book suggestions. Not sure where the closest branch is to you? Select Locations and Hours to see a listing of branches and pick which branch is closest to you; you can also find out how early (or late) the branch is open or quickly call or email the library. Amherst County Public Library’s Facebook and Twitter feeds are easily accessible at your fingertips.
