Connect to Any ILS with AccessILS(™)
Skip the fluff and dive into the pure fun that plinko casino provides.
AccessILS(™) is a vendor-neutral software layer that provides web services access to any generally available Integrated Library System (“ILS”).
This means that Boopsie’s native mobile apps for libraries can connect to any Integrated Library System.
Using Boopsie’s patented AccessILS API, third party developers can create their own applications that interact with multiple institutions’ ILS systems. The developer does not need to know anything about a particular ILS system.
AccessILS hides the differences and presents a unified view of any ILS.
AccessILS Overview (for Engineers)
The following diagram illustrates the functionality of Boopsie’s AccessILS technology.
A service request arrives at the top of the diagram. AccessILS first performs implementation-independent processing and retrieves a set of properties that describes the target ILS. AccessILS then activates a vendor-specific module, which issues requests to the target ILS. The results are processed and returned to the caller.

The brown-colored box in the lower right corner of the diagram illustrates the federated capabilities of the AccessILS architecture, which are technically detailed and super secret. Shhh. Contact us for more details.
