Uber Helps Service Members this Mardi Gras
Boopsie Advisor, Emil Michael, is the SVP of Uber, a company that partnered up with Operation Homefront California to provide free Uber rides to active military personnel and veterans. Our CEO is a member of Operation Homefront California’s Board of Advisors and helped put together this deal. Service members in San Francisco, San Diego and Sacramento just need a valid ID and a promo code (SAFEMARDIGRAS) to obtain a free voucher for a $30 ride today.
Sign up today at http://www.uber.com/GO/SAFEMARDIGRAS or download the mobile application on your smartphone and enter in the promo code SAFEMARDIGRAS.

Public Library Association Conference
We’re Exhibiting at PLA 2014! This year, Boopsie has the honor of developing the official PLA 2014 app. Come say hello at our booth (#1344) and find out about some exciting new features we are adding to our library apps!
New Feature: Enhanced Catalog
Did you know that you can now link to your electronic resources from within your ILS catalog? Field 856 in your catalog extract is saved for resources that have an electronic copy available. If the field is completed in your extract, we can add a link to your item detail page of the app to the same item in the electronic resources’ database. This will help simplify searching for eContent for your patrons.
The Enhanced Catalog will be implemented for all libraries that submit an extract shortly. If you are interested in this feature, contact us and we will be happy to accelerate your deployment.
