Academic Librarians: Deliver Credo Literati to your Students!
CredoWe’re pleased to announce that Credo has added two new services to its Literati and Credo Online Reference Service platforms through a partnership with Boopsie. Credo now offers end-users access to its scholarly reference content and Topic Pages through a new Credo website optimized for mobile devices, developed in collaboration with Boopsie. Students can now search and access Literati reference materials without ever leaving their Boopsie app. Credo and Boopsie will also partner to expand our reach in offering custom-branded mobile apps to libraries around the country and around the world! We’ll be contacting our Academic Library customers shortly to discuss the opportunities in more detail, but feel free to reach out to us beforehand if you’re interested in learning more.

Promote Your Library App to Your Patrons and Win!
Start of the school year? Not seeing the traffic you want to Your Library App? Want to better promote your online and mobile resources? A comprehensive re-launch campaign can be a great idea to remind your community about the relevance of your library and the awesome resources in your mobile app. Consider a reminder press release and check out our marketing posters, fliers and bookmarks that you can post in the library and around your community. Consider buttons staff can wear and remind all staff to mention the app when they interact with patrons, and even help them download it on the spot!

A Shining Boopsie Star: Mango LanguagesMango languages
Through Boopsie’s STAR Program, your patrons can access your Mango subscription remotely at any time. They can learn a language at the library, at home in their PJs or on their next worldwide adventure. Mango attracts job seekers, home-schoolers, ESL learners and travelers to your library – so make it as easy as possible for patrons to take advantage of the ability to learn one of over 50 languages (and there’s no limit to the number of patrons who can access Mango at one time). Check out Tulsa City-County Library for a great example of a Boopsie app with Mango integration! Email us for more information

Library App in the Spotlight: York County Libraries
The libraries we work with are doing great things with their mobile apps to better serve their patrons and increase the influence of their library in their community. Each month, we’ll showcase one of your peers. Be sure to take a look at York County Libraries’ mobile app. Check out what they’re doing with advanced features like BookLook and BookCheck and integrations with OverDrive, Wowbrary and more. They’re even using their app to encourage patron-driven acquisitions! Interested in similar features for your Boopsie app? Contact us to learn more!

Exclusive Icon Interview with Multnomah (2nd Busiest Library in the US!)
Over the coming months, we’ll be collecting stories so you can see what other libraries are doing to create buzz with their patrons and get the most out of their Boopsie app. We sat down with Multnomah, which is the second busiest library in the US. “Our ‘We Speak Your Language’ approach provides info and resources to community members in Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese and Chinese. Boopsie’s been a fantastic partner for us to enable this service,” added Jeremy Graybill, Marketing and Communications Director, regarding the popular multilingual versions of their app. Interested in telling your story through a case study?
