Greg Carpenter

CEO / Co-Founder

Greg Carpenter, co-founder and CEO, is an established leader in the field of technological convergence regarding merchandise, mobile, music and entertainment on the Internet. He has developed several mobile service applications including RSSHome.com, 1800Message.com and all client software for Integrated Media Measurement Inc (IMMI.com). Carpenter also served as Chief Technology Officer for Ralph Lauren Media, LLC; CEO and COO at Digital Entertainment Network, Inc. (DEN) and previously was the Director of Marketing for Microsoft’s Windows Media Technologies where he led the marketing and product technology for such ventures as the Windows Media Player, Windows Media Services and other Windows Media technologies.


Tim Kay

CTO / Co-Founder

Dr. Timothy Kay, co-founder and COO, is an entrepreneur and high tech consultant whose clients include Cray Research, IBM Research, Microsoft Research, IMMI, Inc., TokTu LLC, and M&A Alliance. He also serves on the advisory boards of box.net and M&A Alliance.

Dr. Kay's first startup experience was as the first hire at Silicon Gaming, which was Benchmark Capital's first investment. This initiative led to a series of startups including Metro3D, VXtreme, InfoSpace, and LuckySurf.com. In 1997, Dr. Kay co-founded Query Labs, an Internet consulting firm that provides third-party directory services to newspapers and media firms.

In 2000, Dr. Kay founded Colloquis, Inc., where he created the engineering and technology group. He was responsible for guiding and implementing the technologies that drove the success of Colloquis' products until its acquisition by Microsoft in 2006.

In 1997, Dr. Kay, along with his advisor James T. Kajya, won an Oscar from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for pioneering work in 3-D computer graphics. Dr. Kay received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology.

Craig Ehrlich

Craig Ehrlich is the former long time chairman of the GSMA, the global trade association representing the interests of the worldwide mobile communications industry. Spanning 219 countries, the GSMA unites nearly 800 of the world’s mobile operators, as well as more than 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem. In April 2009, Craig was appointed by Bharti Airtel, India's largest private telecom company, as independent non-executive director of the company. Craig is also Chairman of Novare Technologies Ltd., an onshoring and outsourcing software company based in Hong Kong and serving clients throughout the world; and member of ITU Telecom Board.


Will Poole

Will is an independent Social-Technologist, supporting ICT for Development projects and startups, and promoting Creative Capitalism. He is co-chairman of NComputing, which in 2010 shipped its two-millionth unit, 75% of which are deployed in schools, and all of which use up to 90% less energy than conventional PCs. He co-chairs Pengala Learning, developing solutions to help kids learn more, faster; and Volt Boats, revolutionizing personal boating via green electric technology. Will was previously corporate VP of the Unlimited Potential Group at Microsoft, co-leading efforts to bring social and economic opportunity to the “next billion”. Will also ran Microsoft’s Windows Client business, and headed up New Media Platforms and other internet and digital media groups. Will joined Microsoft in 1996 with the acquisition of eShop, an internet e-commerce pioneer which he co-founded in 1991. Before that, he spent five years in marketing and engineering roles at Sun Microsystems. Will received a degree in Computer Science from Brown University in 1983.
